From the Imperial Household Agency official kiln, this is the work of the master ceramicist Nagaza Yamamoto, whose work is distinguished by his attention to detail and particular care. His work has been used to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty the Emperor Naruhito and to entertain overseas dignitaries.

Because each piece is moulded and painted by hand, there are some differences in the shape, pattern, finished colour and size. This is part of the piece’s unique character. Please note that we can‘t accept returns based on individual differences between pieces.
